Picked up a Spyhunter for $225 and the fuse on the power supply pcb keeps blowing

I just picked up an original upright spyhunter for $225, in pretty good shape. The guy I bought it from said only the monitor comes on but no game play. Got it home, the monitor fires up but nothing on the screen so I checked the fuse on the power supply pcb that is feed of the main power supply block and the 1A fuse was blown. Put in another fuse and the fuse blew also, where should I start troubleshooting? On the PCb with the blown fuse which is where Iam thinking or on the power supply block with the big blue capacitor on it. I removed the battery of the power supply pcb, it caused only slight corrosion on a small part of the board but nothing seroius.

I don't know a ton but I believe a bad bridge recitifier/ ac current will blow the fuse there on most power supplys.

One thing you can do to isolate the problem is unplus the main pcb and see if the fuse still blows.

If it does, it is probably power supply related not main pcb related.

The fuse is on the main power supply pcb, I unplugged the game pcb so I know it isn't the problem because the fuse still blows. It is the right amp because it says right on the pcb that it uses a 1 amp fuse which it had.

The more I think about it I am thinking the problem is on the pwer supply block itself because the pwer coming into the main power pcb is blowing so the voltage coming into it is to great. Does that make sense?

Powersupply

Disconect the 90412 power supply and retest. I have had this happen on the fuse for the 5v line several times when the medium power supply is failed.
