Picked up a scared stiff tonight, thanks for the suggestion!

Glad I asked you all for a Halloween themed pin, picked up a SS tonight and although I only played it a couple times so far but the theme is perfect.

I was deciding between CFTBL and SS....I played both and though the CFTBL is a frickin siren (beautiful art, lightshow etc) I opted for SS. More open PF, more 'halloween-ish' theme and it seems like there is 'more' to do...but damn that frickin CFTBL is a pretty pin!!

Do a full LED kit on that SS and it will help. Does it have the skull pile LEDs or the dancing boogeymen? If not, those are easy add-ons. I'm still wanting to add the glowing bone set to mine. I've owned mine for 4 years and still love it!

Thanks!

It has the led skull pile and the steel chest...I was thinking LEDs but I wonder if doing that would lose the ambiance of the game? The warm yellow hued glow of the bulbs seems right for SS...I saw some new LEDs that have warm white vs bright white so maybe for GI I'd do warm white LEDs To help keep 'the look'...wish they had 'flickering' LEDs, would look great behind the candle on the backglass...

You're exactly right. Don't listen to the LED fanboys. The warm glow of incandescents and smooth shine and fade does make the mood, much better than the in-your-face glare of LEDs. And 'warm' LEDs are not as warm as good ol' bulbs. Plus, you can play the game and follow the ball without inducing an epileptic seizure.

Oh, I love LEDs for sure. But on this one, I'm not convinced changing the GI's is the right move...
