Picked up a pair of Rowe BC11's and have a few questions.
So I combined the two in the best cabinet and made one really nice one that appears to work. The reason I say appears is because I havnt put any quarters/tokens in yet to see if it spits them out. But it turns on,all voltages are good,it sucks up my dollar and thats as far as I got.Ok questions are.
1.Is the bill validator motor supposed to sound like a motor sucking it in or should it be nice and quiet. Mine has a motory sound. I was going to plug the spare one in and see if it has the same sound. Second my coin reject light isnt working still need to figure that out.
2. Do you have to have so many quarters in it for it to function and how do you tell if its a token machin/both/or quarters/or will it do both so it doesnt matter.
3.Ok last question I dont have a base and was planning on gutting the extra non working one, spinning it around 180 degrees (that is if the back is smooth)color matching the brown and painting the sides back and the front of the base so it looks nice. The front of the working one looks great and I want to keep it origonal looking. Then I was going to sell or trade the spare parts for Donkey Kong stuff if there is anyone out there that wants to do that. But are these parts hard to find maybe I should just keep them as spares incase mine dies....What do you guys think....or sell/trade the extra as a whole for dk stuff and buy a base...What do you guys think.....Thanks in advance for the help and opinions.....Dave
