Grabbed a San Francisco Rush the Rock (Alcatraz Edition) tonite for relatively cheap.
Game was working when I was at sellers house (had a minor steering problem but thats not my problem). Game had two wires coming out of back (1 was link cable, other was power cable). Seller removed the cable and gave it to me. Now as I was loading the game I noticed that the plug for the PS (the one the power cable goes to) was missing. It just had 3 wires coming out (obviously this broke sometime in the past). I wasnt too concerned since I was just playing it. I assumed the game was jerry rigged or had a second psu somewhere else in the cabinet. (it does not). The only place I can see where he plugged it into was an interior cable that normally would plug into PSU from inside of cabinet.

I plugged that in and nothing. No lights, no noise, no fans, no nothing. What am I missing here?!? Obviously the plug didnt break in route because it wasnt there while I was playing it.

Ok this isnt mine but it will show you what I mean.

The plug circled broke has no connector. The Green wire is the power cable and I believe he had it plugged directly into the red arrow cable (bi-passing the PSU). Only way I can see he had it since the one plug is missing.

So the PS is there but the black female part is missing? If that the case green is definitely NOT power..it's ground (at least on the AC side)

I would guess when it got unplugged they probably grabbed the cord and yanked.

Your 'female' end is probably still on the end of the plug.

Can ya contact them and get it back? Rob one from an old computer power supply?

Edit to add: Green 'shouldn't' be power if it's not hacked =)
