Picked up a New Game Today

I am assuming this machine originally had black textured T-molding? I see it on the CP, but the op must have replaced the original textured black with the smooth stuff on the sides, cuz that's what it had on it when I picked it up. Or did Leland use both? I am just gonna go with textured to match the CP unless someone can tell me otherwise.

Just tried in MAME. I died after 15,000 something cals, Not sure I understand the game, does it go on forever on that one stage?

I heard. Did you happen to see what the little Taito cocktail table went for?

Didn't even see it. The only other things I was interested in were the sapphire and jade Megatouches, but there is always some soccer mom there willing to bid them up over $300. I briefly thought about the Buck Hunter in the Mortal Kombat II cabinet, as I still need an MK II cab, but the paint over the side art needed to be stripped, the CP needed to be de-converted, etc. This auction really sucked. I couldn't even get a frickin' gumball machine for under $35 at the end, and there were like 20 of the damn things being sold 1 by 1. The Pig Out was a complete Anomaly.

Yeah the prices were alot higher than the last two auctions.

Not only that, but the selection was crap, and there were only like half the machines that usually show up. I remember walking around at the beginning and thinking "That's it?" I was hoping there was a secret room that I hadn't seen yet or a row I missed or something. I saw no real classics that weren't horrible conversions. There were no Pacs, Ms. Pacs, Centipedes, Kongs, Tappers, Dig Dugs, etc. At the last 3 auctions, there have been 1-3 of each of those titles. Very few cocktails this time. I did see quite a few sit down drivers, but even they were bland titles. Did you pick up a second Star Trek Voyager? Looked to be in great shape.

No not really in the market for another big game However I really wanted that Star Wars but not for over 500 ;-(. Best deal I saw was the Elvira Pin went for 625. I really couldnt beilieve what some people were willing to pay for what I consider crap.

Well I got two really good deals that most peeps didn't think about. The feeding frenzy dedicated cab is awesome and it plays great.just need to fix the two aquarium sides and it'll be 100%. the wife won't stop playing it. bought for 250. And that Big beast that some of you guys help me load police911 2 I got for 150, has a great wells 9200 in it and everything works great. Hell of a deal.

As for prices there were some decent deals but nothing too cheap. That's kinda what happens when they do the xxxx for your money. but 100 bucks for a working game isn't too bad. The drivers actually went really cheap for what they were. most of the daytonas were dirt cheap. the touch screens were the usual but on the lower side this time.

One Pin and one cocktail. It's a sign of the future. Bigger and more garbage...

That feeding Frenzy was sweet. I also liked your huge Police 911 2. I'm glad we finally got to sit down for lunch and beers afterward, but I wish you woulda sat next to me Ross. I could barely even talk with you you were so far away. *sadface x 2*

Awesome score, Phetty! I look forward to seeing photos. Is the game fun?

I have had a blast playing it for short spells between fixing it up. The game reminds me of a souped up version of Burgertime. Platforms, ladders, several baddies, you can stun the baddies for a few seconds by throwing food (or bowling balls or boomerangs) at them, they can slip on banana peels, etc. When you jump from platform to platform, you do a somersault in the air, and can control how high and far you jump with timing and by using a little english on the controls. There are a lot of levels including an apartment complex, library, factory, and on and on. The speech is really cool. The graphics are cartoony but well done. And it's 3 players!! My kids are gonna love it.
