Traded for a pin and this game came in the trade, LOCK-ON ! I collect the classics but before my arcade shut down in the late 80s this game showed up and I remember playing it, my buddies were really good at itvery fun, yoke appears identical to the SW yokes. Bezel is very cool and when you lock a target the red light above the screen blinks on, such a neat cab too, I havent seen one since the late 80s, no idea if rare but I thought so, such a cool suprise to be thrown in on my trade to make equal..pics..

I sold that same yoke for around 100 bucks..
Really? I didn't think anyone ever had interest in the Lock-On yokes. They are kinda boxy and a bit ugly.

The pics of the game look pretty decent. I've never seen one before, but will have to give it a try sometime.

The mame guys will buy up anything that is roughly equivalent to a Star Wars yoke (only reason they are so expensive, otherwise they would be $20 like Pole Position wheels).

I bought one of these back in 08 and it was one of most regretful buys. I got it for $200 which I thought was a good deal but was wrong. I restored it and figured I could make my money back but after trying to sell it for seven months I got $75.

Glad you found a working lockon. I like the art, but cant say too much for the gameplay. Its definitely not aged well. Not the same yoke as an atari star wars. I had a half-busted up one that I mame'd into a star wars mame. After the hacking, it was the most played game in my garage.

Wow... I forgot about this one. Have to admit never played it, but I do remember being prevelent in every Aladdin's Castle I went to in the late '80s.

I plan on selling it, but its really neat, and the gameplay is fun. The yoke on this one is the same in size and shape on my star wars, so maybe it is the same... I remember one of my buddies loving this thing, and I was always stuck on the beat up Exidy shooter in the corner... but he was really good at it, 20-30 min a quarter iirc. Very unique original cabinet...

Could be a very similar yoke. There is another game Apache 3 which I have seen. It also had a yoke with similar grips, but a lower profile box.

They had one of those at the local roller rink in Colorado Springs. I put a lot of coin into lock-on! Great find!
