That's exactly it, don't want to damage the bottom edge of the cabinet. All 4 feet were present but the shaft had broken off from the foot so they were flopping all round. With new parts already in the shelf it seemed like a no brainer. Also saves having to tip the machine again later on
The chrome on the coin door was a little tired so it was polished up using soapy water and tinfoil to remove the oxidate once the adhesive from the tape over one of the coin slots was removed
The lower vent/speaker cover was also dinged in and looked to have been pried out with a screwdriver at one point. My Dad removed it and carefully tapped it out and we were both impressed how well it came out (I don't happen to have a before picture
