Does anyone know anything about this? I picked it up for a decent price to use at work on a film production and I can't seem to find much documentation on it other than a flyer. I figured manuals and such are going to be hard to come by because they were used for gambling, but there has to be something out there on them.

It's crazy how well this thing works for its age. Very little wear and it still runs. Might replace the bulbs and triple thick the back glass. If anything I'd like to know more about the operation of the switches inside.

Ok, done some digging and talked with a few experts over on a couple Facebook groups. Theres some consensus that Competition Industries was a company that would take Bally Slot machines and convert them with new mechanics and new artwork for use in the European market.

I was able to get ahold of the flyer, (which is in Dutch......) and as far as I can tell from translating it there were three versions of this thing, 843-4 Universal (mine), 843 Payout, and 843-1 Non-Payout. Both the payout and non-payout ones had 500 and 20 max credit modes, and the universal I have has all 4 modes.

No idea yet what the toggle switches do. but apparently someone said they had to do with reel speeds? huh...
