Picked up a Kung Fu Master Cocktail today..

New info

*Game is a dedicated data east Kung Fu master cocktail! Found a tag on the inside..

It hasn't been open in years.. Found a ton of change and garbage inside. Control panels are the same size of an upright game.. Which is helpful, if I can find some repro upright cpos..

Original manual inside, also found a playmeter mag in it! Which has a few articles about Kung Fu master.. To top it off, I found a working boardset in west springfield yesterday.. So I have an extra.. Game plays, but most of the leaf switches need to be replaced, the contacts are worn completely off!

Stuff I need:
2 cpos
new glass top, this one is scratched to hell
replace most, if not all leaf switches..

That's a very interesting cocktail. I wouldn't refurbish it top to bottom, but I'd clean up and re-finish bits here and there.

It's nice to see a rarer, dedicated version of a popular game. Can't be many of those floating around.

Todd of TNT had one of those on eBay awhile back, but it was in fantastic shape. I don't recall what it sold for, but I think around $400.

Restore

I got such a deal on it, I can afford to put a little money into cleaning it up.. Cpos and glass are really the only pricy parts..

Hmm... the CPO's look identical to the upright. maybe you can get away with upright cpo's for some kind of restoration?

That thing is sweet

Nice score- I have an upright. At first I thought it might have been a track and field previously or something, but that is ever sweeter that it is dedicated. Never seen one of those. MameMarquees.com has repros for the upright, so they should work. Here is a link that should take you there:
