awl! my mk2 doesnt have that cool extra part around the monitors, it looks so naked! with the charactr moves list or whatever
it's custom.

to my understanding, I don't think any of the MK games came with factory move cards. of the Midway fighters, I've only ever seen KI2 come with them.
I custom made my own move cards for KI1, since I operate mine in my family's arcade and the few people that play it need some help. lol
good find, sir. mine was one of the variety that was painted over. I had a bitch of a time trying to get it off with citristrip, I got it about 3/4 done and had to stop cause I ran out of time. (I did this on a saturday morning when we had about 7 or 8 parties in the same day, DOH!) ... might make another pass on it with regular graffiti remover next, might do all that when I replace the broken leg levelers and re-cap my monitor.
speaking of, do your MK2 and KI machines have WG K7000s or Hantarex Polos?
not like it matters anymore since you got all dedicated machines now, but as previously mentioned, the metal control panels are all interchangeable, with exception of MK4's (and possibly other Midway games that came out after it), for whatever reason the latch plates or whatever they're called are mounted further up the CP and don't line up with the wooden box. fortunately, I got my MK4 CP complete with the box, just four 7/16" bolts to take out...
I see your MK2 has what appears to be a Happ Super joystick on player 1. do yourself a major favor and replace all your joysticks with new Happ Competition joysticks, especially on KI.
I run all my stuff in a commercial setting, so they all have to be tip-top. if you have any questions about anything just send me a PM. let me know if you want the KI move cards too, I just ran them through a photo printer on gloss paper, thought they came out pretty good.
I also remembered, based off personal preference and because I wanted to contrast with my KI2 cab's red T-molding, I replaced the original black T-molding on my KI1 with blue that I got from Happ (as a business, I get most all of my parts and stuff from them... there's other options out there for personal buyers, ask around) and I thought it complemented the "blue" theme of the game rather well.
