Grabbed this one today - looks like it will be an easy restore.
I was very glad to see that it worked when I plugged it in.

SCORE!

What needs restoring? I'd say to leave as much of it as you can as original.

Serial #?

Great score! Warlords is an awesome game. A request: If you do break it down to restore, could you please trace the monitor bezel? I need to make one for mine as it is missing.

Any story behind the machine? CL find? From another collector?

Very cool! I swear, most earlier Atari machines - Battle Zone excluded - are built like tanks (apparently, building the cabinet like a tank was enough in their opinion.)

A great score indeed Brad. Glad i could help nudge you into the purchase cuz it was well worth it. It's an easy restoration as long as your formica woodgrain panels are good so slap on some new overlays, glass top and some powdercoating. For what you've got into this thing so far, you can't go wrong.

Well here is the deal. I recently found this game in an operators warehouse with a monitor sitting on top of it. The guys place was so packed with machines I couldnt even move it an inch if I wanted to. So I had no clue if it worked or anything. I was able to make a deal that included the warlords for free. Needless to say when I got it home and plugged it in - and it WORKED... I was very happy

That's the best story/find I have heard yet in 2011.

Congratulations on a great addition!

Thanks... I had to jump through some hoops... but at the end of the day - a free game is a free game... especially a Warlords cocktail

Nice and welcome to the club!
I bring mine home from my Dad's garage this week
