Picked up a Gottlied Cue Ball Wizard and looking for a few parts

Picked up a Gottlied Cue Ball Wizard today for $425 today, game works but needs some tlc. I think I got a good deal seeing what they go for. It is missing a few things like the cue ball and 8 ball but I believe they are just regular pool balls and it is also missing the plastic piece on top that looks like the letter Y where the 8 ball sits, any idea where I can get that part. Also the legs are badly rusted and the chrome trim on the sides are rusted also, any suggestions on how to get rid of the rust. I am thinking of getting the legs sand blasted, good or bad idea. Also it is missing the backglass and trans lite but the guy I bought it from has already ordered a new trans lite so he is going to call me when he has it but I need a piece of glass, any idea the thickness I would need and dimensions.

I have been to his site, but he doesn't accept pay pal which I prefer to pay. Is there any other good sites for pinball parts? I have been to marcos specialties but he doesn't have the plastic Y parts on his website.

He does take checks.

He might even have the sticker for it.

or you could maybe scrounge a used one off flebay.

good luck.

Ya, PBR has everything you need. Don't let the M.O./check thing scare you off; he does great business.

As for getting rid of rust, I use an awesome product called EvapoRust. Let the stuff soak overnight, give it a scrub with some fine steel wool then let it soak another night if necessary. I bought a 30" plastic wallpaper tray for soaking legs.

CBW is a fun game (I have one). Good luck!

Thanks for the info:) Where did you buy the evaporust from? Also the game came with the legs but no legs bolts, would any pinball leg bolts fit? I see some for sale on ebay so I am wondering if they are universal?

Backglass is 25"X20"X1/8" and appears to be tempered. Your local glass shop can order it. If you ask nice, they might be able to get the little etched logo omitted.

Sweet thanks for the glass size, my neighbour does window replacements so I am able to get my glass through at his cost and they leave the logo off. Thanks again

TSC, it's actually a Farm supply store but Home Hardware is a hilarious joke these days they're like a Princess-ified department store with no hardware anymore. Kinda like what Radio Shack(The Source) has turned into.

I picked up 4 head bolts and washers for a pin that came with none a bit back, and I think it cost me 50 cents...

Just ordered the plastic Y shape piece, the decals for it and they small cue stick today from PB Resource.:) I plan to use some evaporust to get the rust off the chrome legs but what can I use to get the rust off the chrome trim on the side of the cabinets by the playfield glass since they won't come off?
