Ain't she a beaut?

Got it home, cleaned the board connector and fired it up...

Picked up another free "non working" game while I was there.. I'll wait and see what's wrong with this this weekend. :)

All in all I think this was a pretty good score.

we never get anything in this country for free, never mind 2 cades in one day free.

is this what usa is like, buy truck loads of cabs for $200,find them on the side of the road, for free local etc.

its like cabs are like toilet paper or something?
:D

those have GREAT side art (mainly gyruss)

man i wish i could get games for free...ggrrrr..

Great haul!!!!

Hell, I would take stuff like that for free all day long, even if they have to be kept in the bathroom.

This was just one of those right-place-at-the-right-time situations..

Some people just want to get rid of these things, and if you become known as a guy who fixes up arcades eventually they get in touch with you... I have to say, this was special to get a Gyruss in this good of shape, cosmetically and.. electronically. I really lucked out.

The ms pac looks like its going to be good too. I get some garbage graphics when I power it on, but I can tell the monitor is working and in pretty good condition. Some burn in, which is to be expected.

Yes. That's exactly what america is like. Also all the girls look like they're from Sweden. Sometimes when you're watching T.V., the pizza guy just shows up with pizza you didn't order and gives it to you for FREE. Plus, arcade pcb's never actually break in America. If you have a game that doesn't work, it's because it's turned off, or the fuse isn't making good contact. All those boards you hear about being broken are RE-IMPORTS.

Also Atari was invented here.

A free, working Gyruss?!! Awesome!

It looks pristine. If it also had a Centuri logo coin door I'd say DAMN!

So are these games keepers, or will you flip eventually?

If the filter pcb is still in the mrs pacman, pull it out.. May just fire right up :)
I've had luck doing that and replacing all the fuse holders.

Man I want a gyruss!! Someone in massachusetts hook me up!
