Well I finally got my first Williams game. Picked up a Fish Tales today.

Pics Here.

It's sitting outside of the game room for now, since I need to sell some stuff to make room. I think I might actually sell quite a few cabs and PCB's off and get another 'B' pin or 2.

Oh, no. The pins gotcha. There's no hope for you now. Congrats.

NICE! That's a great looking cab...they're usually faded to the point of being colorless. Not a fan of those colored bulbs though....ugh!

I just got a Fish Tales as well. Just waiting on some parts and she'll be fully operational soon. The original owner was using a playfield rubber for the belt, which did not work at all, there was tons of shredded rubber in the cab and the belt was so loose that the reel would not work properly. Congrats! It's a fun game, and very challenging.

Haha, the pins have had me for a few years now. Unfortunately I have just bought to much crap in the last year or so, and it's forced me to start selling off stuff.

It doesn't actually look that bad in person, at least I don't think it does, that picture I snapped sucks ass though, haha.

Tons of fishtales cabs have MAJOR fade. My right handside on mine is faded almost to white and my buddy Dave's lefthand side is faded almost to white..yours looks pretty damn good compared to ones I've seen. My other sides all look like yours and the front is decent too. If you tilt the head down and look at the color under the headbox bracket it will probably be more close to the original color...

First of all congrats it looks very nice. Don't worry about the pics those colors are very hard to properly capture.
I am absolutely in the same boat ... tired of vids and want a couple pins.
Wish these bastards weren't so damn expensive though

I love the sideart on FishTales. It always makes me think of this game Shark Attack that I used to have.

The fisherman in the boat on the side art has two thumbs on one hand (upper hand on the pole). Once you see it, you can never unsee it.

Looks great... Fish Tales was my second pin... be careful... you'll start selling stuff like mad once you let the pins in the house!!!!

The game is a lot of fun... not the most complicated but most people really enjoy this one!

Yeah this is actually my 5th pin. I also have TSPP, LOTR, FGY, and SM. Wouldn't mind adding a few more over time. FT compared to my others is definitely different especially in the depth of rules. I'll give it some time and see how much I play it once the new factor wares off.

This will fit in nicely with those pins... It will be the one game in the lineup that doesnt feel like a marathon to get through. It is nice to have a mixture of deep and "shallow" titles to keep things fun. TSPP will be the last pin to leave my collection, but it doesn't get nearly the time some of my other pins get because I can't always block off an hour+ to play pinball....

I need to start to learn how to troubleshoot these things, I guess I will since I am starting to buy older pins. The multiball wasn't working on my machine, because the switch on the reel wasn't registering. A friend came over yesterday so we pulled the glass and sure enough one of the wires to the switch was broken off, re-soldered and now its working good.

Welcome to older games :)
