I had more important things to do, but alas I made the mistake of popping on craigslist for a second, and 30 min later I'm home with what looks like a Midway cocktail cab (at least thats what I"m used to) that has Mr. Do's castle in it. Upon opening it, it looks like it originally was a scramble. It is a stern cab. Serial #381.

Cab is in pretty beat up shape - orig wire harness is mostly there but looks like some chunks were cut out of it. Is scramble something to pursue, or should I put something else in? I guess it was worth it for the monitor and board. It appears to work but with no vertical hold. Until someone comes to help me get it off the truck I can't tinker too much, and its getting dark out.

Coin door is fairly rusty. Stern power supply pcb is missing, but after looking at a pic of one, I just MIGHT have one laying at the garage. Xformer assembly is there.

Any ideas on what to do with it? I do have some pac boards I could try to get working, or just fix it up and leave it Mr. Do's castle or something.

Scramble cocktails are fairly rare..probably hard to find parts for ...especially top glass which was silkscreened..and the control panels..better to convert if that too far gone..

Hmm I didn't even think of that, let me go look at something...

EDIT: Damn, glass is just painted black with the instructions taped to the bottom of it :-(

Now that I look at it again, the veneer is mostly damaged on the back, the side has a small cracked section but thats not too bad...
