Here is the album! I got it for 250, had to drive an hour to get it. We also took a risk and loaded it in one go. Tied it up and it survived the ride.
Heres one pic, then the album

congrats, looks like it's in very nice shape, especially the all-important control panel. Just missing the portraits above the coin doors, but maybe you can repro?

We laid it on it's side and cupped the control panel around the big box that is on the back of the main piece and roped it all together for the trip. Lacking in safety but it made the trip haha

I hope to have enough space to own one of these one day, nice pickup!

Congrats! I have one, but with a trashed CPO. It hasn't been assembled in 5+ years though....It will be once the new building is done!

you do know the cab splits into 2? You can also remove the 2nd monitor. That must have been fun to move in 1 piece.

It sounds like he moved it in two pieces? In my opinion it splits into three pieces - the upright, the control panel, and the right monitor. Mine was fairly easy to move once I broke it down.

check the album link under the picture- you will see it in pieces, plus to get it through a door the back monitor had to be removed as well.

cool. Its a beast to move. I fixed one in this guys house I think in hayward. He removed the front window and had some of his friends lift it into his his house. Add a nice slope leading up the window and that was a serious commitment.

Congrats sir. That is the best looking control panel I have ever seen on a 6 player.

You made the front page of reddit.

Hah!

I was just gonna say that.

This is one of those grail games for me...one day.

A few years ago, I hit up Ground Kontrol in Portland about their 6 player x-men restore of the artwork.

http://groundkontrol.com/2009/12/x-men-day-three-recreating-the-original-artwork/

They went on to add an LCD to the cab, and slim it up, but not before vectoring the art for all of the original cab. The contact over there at the time said they might be releasing it to the public...never happened.

If I were you, I would be contacting them and begging to get a hold of a full set of reproduction artwork...or at least the files to have it printed. Getting it out into the public would be awesome for us collectors.
