I picked this up from a guy in Lancaster PA today. He said he got alot of calls on this, but I was first, so I got it for $40. He actually didn't play any games and was good to his word. Something rare nowadays in the world of Craigslist.

Its complete and dirty. I tried to power it up, and I found so far alot of bad corroded connections.

My first cocktail. It will go in my computer room when I get it cleaned up and running.

That's awesome! I agree with Jeff, $40 = win. I don't have a cocktail yet, but I will eventually. Yours looks to be in great shape, nothing seems to be missing. I probably would have given the seller an extra $10 just for being an honest craigslister... ;)

Looks great. That's a little different than most Space Invader Cocktails I usually see, no? Is that a conversion?

the first pic looks like a dedicated midway cocktail to me..

the last pic(blkdog) looks like a bootleg one..

there were billions of bootleg ones..

mabye midway licensed the game to other mfgs too??????

John is talking about a Taito cab. The game was originally created and released by Taito, then was licensed to Midway which is the more common cab thet superbee just bought.

BTW, I have a complete wiring harness with power block for that game if you need it.

Found some blown fuses, replaced them, and now I get the pattern thing these boards like to display when something is wrong.

I did the figure test on the memory chips, and found two possible bad memory chips. I need to order some replacement chips.

The firgure test is, when the board is powered on, you touch each chip with your figure, if its hot to the touch the chip is bad. I was told this by a guy who used to work on these games back in the day.
