Just was hoping someone can confirm this is what I believe to be a CR31. Part number checks out on the BK list being a 19". Just need to confirm the ohm numbers for V and H. When I was taking a reading on it I saw the ohm's jump to a number and back to zero. Is this what's supposed to be the reading?

Thanks for any help on this. :eek:

Its some odd brand Broksonic, but as you can see it uses an Orion tube. I think this will make a good donor.

A48LGS30X = CR-31 tube.

However, whether the yoke will work with CR-31 arcade chassis (like K7000 for example) is unknown. Still, you can swap the proper yoke onto that tube...

Did you get an ohm reading yet?

I just found the same tube, but instead of it being an 8 pin, it's a fat neck 10 pin.. From the reading I took, it seems to be a drop in replacement for a 19" sharp monitor.. Playchoice cabs use them.. I may actually pull the yoke and swap it with a go7..

If yours reads in the 2.5-3.5 & 13.5-14.5 and up to 15 you can drop it into a k7000 or k7203 (at least that's what I'm doing)

Today's find:
Quasar 19" with a 8pin neck 16.5 and 4.8, dropped into a k7000 with no mods and works perfectly!

Yesterday:
Sharp 19" with 8pin neck 3.0 and 14 dropped into a k7000 and also a k7203, works perfectly!! Had to change connectors on tube

Would you be interested in getting rid of the old neck board from that tv? I need a cr31 socket to make an adapter for my rejuvenator.

Nice find! No I didn't get the reading. Trying to confirm if the ohm reading is supposed to be a quick flash or steady reading as I don't get a steady reading.

Yea, these tubes are normally drop in replacements for the 19" WG K7xxx chassis with no yoke swap required. What's nice is you won't have to even mess with convergence and you should be able swap it right in for a perfect picture. The only adjustment that you may have to make is on the RGB pots on the neckboard. The other thing that you will most likely need to do is swap the 4-pin board connector that comes off the yoke as it probably wont line up with your board.

Good luck!
