Picked up a $100 PunchOut!! today off CL update..

It's in pretty nice shape and both monitors work but when it boots up it just has scrambled video....power supply??? I'm a Nintendo virgin so I need to check out the voltages I guess for starters.

Wow...Figures the one time i'm not checking for games on CL, the one I really want comes across at a wonderful price. Eh my transport vehicle is down and I tied my fun money up for
a little bit anyhow. Are you going to get it working and keep it or sell it off? I want one of these with the double punch out/super solution in it.

Nice Score!

I saw that too. Nice pickup. How was the DK Jr? You see the $100 Mata Hari pinball in another ad? Lotsa deals today.

The DK was mint and I think it's $250 now but probably gone at that price. If she would of told me $250 for the DK I would of grabbed it, oh well. I saw the Mata Hari too and e-mailed the guy for pix but really not that interested being it's a hike and was stored in a barn so I'm assuming alot of paint flaking. I just bought a nice Mata Hari last weekend so I think I'm set.

This game is not really my cup of tea so I would consider trading for something else or sell it. I knew it was worth the asking price with the shape it was in and two working monitors so jumped on it.

Didn't check craigslist this morning, but don't really have the money for it right now either. But if you do ever decide to sell it, if I could get second in line behind Arcredux for dibs, that would be awesome. Probably won't have the money anywhere in the near future either, but who knowslol.

You guys will get first dibs if I sell it. :)

I saw it too and was tempted. I already have one, I would've bought this one to make a SPO someday (I know, nice dream).

Glad someone here got it!

That thing is in Awesome shape for 100.00 Great deal you got there!

Has that T-molding been replaced? The pictures are kind of blurry, so I couldn't say for sure, but it looks whiter/brighter and thicker than I'd expect original T-molding to look after all these years. Is it flat T-molding or rounded? You'd think that someone who would take the time and effort to replace T-molding would know he could get more than $100 out of that machine. I'd estimate that complete, original, and in good shape control panel plus two working Sanyos to be worth at least $250 total by themselves.

Is the finish on the cabinet original or has it been repainted? How about the finish on the coin doors? How are the monitors in terms of screen burn, tube strength/brightness, and colors? Any major gouges in the cabinet?

In any event, you got an awesome deal on that machine. It is too bad you don't like the game. It is my second favorite game of all time (right after Super Punch-Out).

Wow, that's alota questions!! The T-molding looked new and the cab has been repainted. As for the monitors they were bright with light to medium screen burn. It's at my buddys house right now being it looked like rain was coming so I left it there so what I can do is take some nice pix of it later this week if you want. I never really played it back in the day so who knows maybe I'll dig it.

Oh you'll dig alright.

Unless he grew up playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. It is next to impossible to convince most of those guys that arcade Punch-Out is the better game (better graphics, sounds, animation, mechanics, etc.).

"But there's no King Hippo! Where's Doc Louis?! Why is 'Little Mac' so big, and green?! Where are the stars and hearts?! There's no story!" and so on.

Got her back to my house and cleaned the contacts and she fired up! I love when that happens!!!
