Can someone with Clay's MultiJamma take a few pics for me? For some reason (stupidity?) I can't tell from the manual just how the power supply and grounds are supposed to be wired up. Thanks.
Power comes in to switcher from power cord, daisy chain the two 115v and ground wire across your switchers (if using more than one). +5, -5 & 12 from switcher(s) to Clay's adapters. I used split cables so I could run two boards per switcher without issue. I can't get to my cab right now, but I can take pics later if you still need them.
CNLMOORE - if you could take some pics that would be great. Question, why did you go with one supply for 2 boards? The manual says you can "safely" run 4 boards off of one supply. Is that not accurate?
TREBORLICEC - I found that site when looking for info yesterday. Hard to tell the connections I am most interested in: incoming power to the main switcher and the PC power supplies, and then the PC power supplies to the game board adapters. Clay has all these grounding warnings and he has me nervous about f*cking something up.
I'll get some pics tonight, shoot me an email addy via PM. I went with one for the cab, two per board, I only have four boards haven't made space for any more yet. Maybe overkill but I had ZERO issues with it for almost 9yrs...until this past weekend when a switcher went down.
