quite a while ago well i read a thread that used the phrase "minty goodness" . i found it again the other day. dated 13/3/2008 by descrentl
i found myself marvelling at just how good a superlative it is to describe all things in good nick. problem is, this phrase has stuck in my head.
so i thought i'd look up google and see what the earliest date was that it was used on the net (according to google anyway) hoping to find the earliest uxseage of the term to describe an items condition (ie mint, minty and hence minty goodness!) and found a website called mintygoodness.blogspot.com with an entry dated Thursday, November 16, 2006. well they were talking about, yes yoou guessed it, Mints!
but it is still a damn good turn of phrase to describe a really nice arcade cab in spankin good condition!
also, the word Bondo. for ages i was scratchin ma head, now i found myself thnking about fillin holes with bondo - in aus the term "bog" is used as a term for filler. we've even got a product called "builders bog"! that looks and feels like bondo (when cured). so i'd normaly say bog it up now i'm thinkin bondo it UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!
oh well bog or bondo, minty goodness or brand spankin, tomato tomarto!
