Can anyone do me a favor and snap a few photos of yourself checking the voltages on a Qbert PCB? Maybe even a close up of where the meter points are on the PCB, and where to adjust them on the powersupply.

I'm trying to talk a friend through how to check and adjust the voltages on his machine, but its not working. I can't get to my Qbert machine for a while as it is burried in the far back corner of my garage at the moment.

Any help is appreciated.

The top two headers of the power supply are output voltages. The left header is all grounds and +5. Use the very left of that header for your meters ground. On the other header you should have +5, +12, -12, 30v and unreg 20v? (usually is actually 14-15v).
Sorry, I dont have any pics.

thanks Rip. I've tried to explain it to the guy like 5 times, but he can't get it figured out. Hopefully, someone will be able to snap a few quick photos so I can show him where to check.

This reminds me of the kids that have a "friend" that likes a girl :) Seriously though, hope you can help your buddy out.

Not trying to sound like an ass here but if he cant figure out how to test voltage then he probably shouldnt have his hands in that machine. Perhaps he can find someone that can help him out locally?
