I have a great looking phoenix that I'm trying to clean up in anyways possible. One thing I need to fix is the inner poster board monitor shroud that covers up the crt and everything else. I've gone ahead and cut out a new one, but I'm having problems mounting it. The original black poster board shroud was held in by 4 pieces of velcro, but upon closer inspection it looks like it's supposed to be mounted with screws?

Can someone post a pic and a little summary of how it's mounted? Id REALLY appreciate anyone's help. The shroud is just sitting in there now and works well enough, but I'd like to keep this looking as original as possible.

thanks,

Ooops, upon further inspection the "screw holes" are actually just depressions where fasteners meet the wood pieces (to hold up the bezel). Can anyone else verify that the inner shroud is just standing there in place?
velcro is def. not factory, now that I look at it.

I pulled mine out and had a look at it. There is residue where there used to be something sticky holding the piece in. Looked to be double sided tape or it could have possibly been velcro with a sticky back on both sides I suppose. On mine the tape or whatever is gone though. Just residue left.

I just checked mine as well and it looks the same. There use to be something there and i think it must have been double sided tape.

Precisely. It was the same for my Time Pilot. Luckily for me the original bezel was still intact so I can get my artsy girlfriend to make me a replica.
