I represent a group that is seriously looking into putting together a California Extreme style (though smaller) arcade & pinball convention in Phoenix, AZ. We already host an annual con (KoL Con) and we've been consulting with Dann Frank, one of the administrators of the Wild West Pinball Convention that took place back in the 90s, so we've got the chops to make this happen.

Right now we're putting out feelers to see who'd be interested in attending, but more importantly who'd be willing to put up some of their pinball and/or arcade games for a weekend.

Thanks, and spread the word!

I'd be interested. I have family in AZ so if the dates work out I could kill two birds with one stone.

Great! We're gonna need a lot more than 1 person though. ;) I'd like to get some local feedback. any Arizonans out there?

There are a bunch of other arcade/pinball forums out there, have you cross posted this info?

I've hit some google groups, arcade controls, pinside, games database, and twin galaxies.

you know of any more?

Coin Op Space
Atari Age
Neo Geo forums
Rec.Games.Pinball on the Google Groups

are a few others I can think of off the top of my head

Thanks. I'm actually still waiting on approval from the mods at Coin Op Space. I'll hit up the others you mentioned. :)

Yes, I'm in. Just have to figure out how to get my games from Tucson if I am to be supplying more than 3.

He has a game store in Gilbert I believe called Desert Sky Games. PM him too

Hey, someone said my name!

Schedule permitting, yeah I'd love to take part. In fact, if we can work out the logistics, I would potentially be willing to offer DSG as cheap-as-free space for the event. Not sure whether that works with the event structure you guys had in mind but I wanted to put it out there. Let me know if there's any interest along those lines.

I'm hurt, bro. Really hurt.

Damnit, see? I knew this would happen. Sorry, man, there's a bunch of us, and I have loss of short term somethingorother.

Krajkerjac, but he quit talking to me for some reason. And... ZFCamaro? Is he from phoenix? FalkenVR? Something along those lines...

Hi Mike,
I appreciate the generous offer. How big is your space? If we were to do it elsewhere, could you supply any games?

Thanks!
Wes

Quit talking? You're a nitwit. Just busy buddy. :)

Sounds like it would be a nice time, but I don't have any dedicated cabs and the ones I do have I don't intend on moving anywhere. Best I could do is possibly bring some PCBs.

Is that what would be considered a "'jamma party"?
