Not really a resto, just a really nice set of front and side art from Phoenix and a new marquee from Hyperspace.

Here is the before pic, original art looks good in pics but was actually pretty scraped and dinged up.

The finished product. A few people told me not to cover the original art in a decal, but I'm extremely happy I did! This sideart looks better than all of the others I have seen for sale out there IMO, Looks the most like the original.

Now I have to paint all of the black, as it looks REALLY bad now!

Yep. Once you get really nice stuff on a cab, all the stuff that was "OK" before starts to look really "bad".

That's why I tend not to paint a cab unless I'm going to do the entire thing. If you're going to do it, do it right :D

I was thinking about doing a complete side-art kit for my defender. Sticker looks easier than stencil but i am curious how the full side stencil holds up to little kids. I remember seeing a little loose piece getting pulled on and then there was a whole slice pulled up across a piece of side art. I'm afriad that might be possible with the complete sideart kits.

damn kids. it's karma haunting me really. LOL

Just get the stencils from gamestencils, make it a long project, but the end results will be more than rewarding. Only $90, and that's a huge bargain for what you get:
