Is this a real law? If so... what? I suppose it has something to do with gambling, but it seems stupid.

What other weird laws are there regarding arcade games and pinball machines?
 
Where'd you see that, Atomic City Comics? I remember seeing that too. They should just get the license since they have the games.
 
It's probably : Anybody can operate 3 arcade machines without an operator's license (ie: paying tax on them). But you need a standard operator's license to run over 3.

Sounds pretty dang lenient to me. Can't think of any other city that allows amusement devices to be run without any license at all.
 
I know there are places that have license laws but don't do much in regards to enforcement. By that same token, ops don't do much in regards to compliance :)
 
The county next to me doesn't even have any coin-op laws and our state doesn't have a state-wide rule. Beyond that my area doesn't have anything like that where it allows some games. Either all or none.
