Hi
I have a pga golf tournament edition that i am restoring. It was running but the pc motherboard has died.It is a pentium 4. but I cannot find any markings to show manufacturer.
Question is will I be able to replace it with another p4 motherboard or is the original an oem part?

How do you know it has died? if you can't get it to power up, it may just be the "soft power switch" part is bad, and you can bypass that by putting a jumper between the green and black wire on the 20-pin connector to the motherboard.

Also, if the battery dies, the CMOS will need to be reset so that it will power up when the cab switch is turned on...

A friend had one that the computer was continually resetting. He replaced the power supply but that didn't help. He finally shipped the computer back to Global VR's service department. It came back 100% repaired and operational. Working perfectly fine now.

thanks for the reply.
board will run (well it powers the process fan and a few led's light)with the 20 pin power connected but dies when you connect the aux 4 pin molex.
