I had a cocktail monitor that had a chassis that had very little info available online (a Sanwa 1416 J) and Peter was great in helping to get a cap kit put together and sorted out. Great communication and help along the way. Wicked helpful!

What game did this monitor come from? I have a weird one with little info, came in a Moon cresta cocktail. Did yours have a bunch of caps that had metallic blue tops?

If you can figure out what monitor goes in a moon cresta cocktail that would be awesome. I've got one and I cannot figure out what kind of monitor it is.

Caps and ANYTHING else you might need. Just rebuilt my wonky, 100V, Sega (Nanao) MC-2030 19"...he had everything I needed, including the really hard to find flyback. Helpful indeed!!!

It was from a knock-off Taito cocktail, no tags or identifying markings inside or out. It came to me with a bootleg Scramble board. The tube is a 13" Chunghwa 370DJB22-TC. Chassis is Sanwa 1416 J. No metallic blue tops that I recall.

Here's an album with a bunch of pics of it:

Overall I'm pretty damn happy as this was my first cap kit attempted, and to have had to map them all out for the kit to be assembled, and to have it all work when finished...well hey!

Here's the link to the kit Peter made available. I used his suggested filter cap replacement as well.

Peter is a FANfreakintastic seller. Could he be the next "Bob Roberts" of the business? Only time can tell, but I am willing to bet on him that he will be and pretty much is. This is a man that truly cares about the business and his customers.

Well...I didn't think it was fair to go ALL in. Peter is definitely the king when it comes to helping you source those obscure parts you need, but lets not forget about the others (e.g. Ian Kellogg, etc.) that are also working hard to help us keep these classics up and running. :top:

I wouldn't even put Bob in the same league as Peter.

Bob did A LOT for this hobby. So does Peter. No need to disrespect BR.

Especially saying he did NOTHING for the hobby. If you have his site archived, be a man and delete his files now then.
