He's finally recognizing what a weak argument his, "at least my son is happy" comment was and is now trying to justify his unspeakable actions.
I am glad you put $$$ in the pockets of a known liar and thief to entertain your child on a game. How many hours of play does that 720 get? Was it worth contributing to a criminal enterprise and stabbing folks in this community that you seem to frequent in the back?
The reality is this is just a hobby, and these are just games. They are not more important than friendship, community, etc. There are hundred if not thousands of posts by people who RAM ripped off, yet you felt it was more important to rebuild a joystick than stand behind your fellow forum members. The same people you turn to if you need FREE info on how to fix your games, or a lead on a new game, or some parts for cheap. You stabbed all of them in the back so your kid could be happy. Nice lesson to teach your kid, it's ok to support a crook and dick others over as long as it gets you what YOU want in the end. Yeah, you are a true hero to your son.
My folks instilled in me the belief that there is no greater responsibility one has as to their community large or small. They also taught me to stand tall and to do the right thing no matter how difficult or inconvenient. I am sure there were other games or part or things that could have been bought to make your son happy. There are other known vendors of the parts you were looking for.
As far as your weak argument goes, I am sure this is your way of trying to justify your actions and back pedal a bit on the above mentioned statement.
