Hi All,
I have a Pentranic CH-288 Chassis where I replaced the HOT transistor.
When I plugged it back into the monitor, I stupidly left the sub board off the chassis (the B+ Sub board). Naturally, after about 15 seconds, the fuse blew.
I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate ramifications to leaving this off, as in what voltages may have gone through parts that they shouldnt have, and what area to start.
I have confirmed that across C402 - there is 0.702V
On one side of R318 (where it should be 18V), its coming up as 0.938V and the other side, 0.00V (On another note this resistor tests at 179 ohm, instead of its rated 270 ohm)
On One side of R331 there is 119.2V, the other side 12.67V
Does anyone have an idea what damage could have been caused?
I have been working off the schematic http://www.niemandisplays.com/nvd ch-288 cga only.pdf
