I have a 25" Pentranic monitor with CH288 chassis mounted vertically in my cabinet.

The picture is too wide by about 5-10% -- stuff's getting clipped. (Because it's mounted vertically the top and bottom are what's being clipped).

Can anyone suggest why and what I can do to reduce the picture size? I have the h width pot set to the minimum and am seeing the 5-10% clipping.

Is this a B+ issue? Horiz width coil? Any suggestions?

I did find this thread:

But I have no idea of what he did to adjust the width coil. As he said, it doesn't seem to move on my chassis. There doesn't seem to be anything inside it TO move.

Yeah, he's also closed until Jan 14th. :(

Yeah, I bought a new monitor from him last year. He put up with all of my silly questions. :)

I just wish someone could tell me how to adjust the width coil on this beast with Rick being out of the office.
