I recently posted on a burgertime pcb that would not boot. It would go to a blue or black screen. But if i left it on for a while then off and back on it would boot up and play almost perfect. Today i was trying out a Gals Panic 2 i purchased not working. When i turned it on it started going threw self check then went to a reddish screen. It would make a coin up sound but no game play. I left it on and came back a little while later and game was up and running. Played a couple of games and everything worked fine. I turned it off and came back later in the day.Turned it on and got the same red screen. Waited and stared at it for a while until i gave up and walked away to do other things. Sure enough when i came back game was up and running. Anybody has any idea what would have to warm up or is it just my imagination. Thanks,Luis

Checks

It could be your power supply is going bad or perhaps your PCBs need to be recapped. Check the connections and PS voltages.

may also be bad solder joints that are not connecting well until the metal heats a bit and expands making a better connection.

Were you using the same power supply when the problem occurred on both boards? Its possible the power supply is failing. It might run some boards if they are less power hungry.
Try a new power supply and see if the problem goes away.

I checked the power to the boards at various places both times and i was getting 5.0 to 5.2 I also tried them in a cab and same problem.
