Smash TV - working w/no sound, couldn't test all controls, but the player 1 moved, and the buttons fired in different directions. Sound board is there, looks like all cables except the volume pot. I took a volume pot from my MK and tried it on the Smash TV sound board, but no luck. MMAO shipped

Have you tested the Smash TV on a different cab besides the Astro City? I know that the stock Astro PSU does not supply enough at the -5V line for all the PCBs that require it for sound.

Might be the issue, might not, just throwing it out there.

Thanks, man. Much appreciated. I do have another cab I can try it in. Hopefully I'll have some time to try it out in the next few days.

not having a volume pot and cable is actually his issue, great deal on that boardset.
