Is there such a thing as replacement eyelets which one can use in place of destroyed through-hole solder pads? I've got a board with some bad acid damage and it seems to me in the distant past I've seen such a thing for PCB repair before, in which one would just drill out the hole, insert the eyelet and use a special tool to permanently press it into place like a rivit.
Traces are easy to fix/replace as you can just use wire but wrecked solder pads are a serious pain in the ass, especially when the surface is badly contaminated and solder won't stick.
I've searched around but so far I've had had no luck.
