I have got a TMNT machine on its way and also won a Psychic 5 PCB off ebay.

Can I test it in the machine when I get it? or wait till I get a dedicated machine to put Psy5 into?

What would be the best cabinet to put Psy5 into?

Thanks

They're both JAMMA games so I don't see why not. Although one has a vertical monitor orientation and the other vertical but they're both standard res CRTs. Someone back me up here?

Yes it should be fine, obviously it will be rotated and the aspect ratio may look bizarre but you can test it in the TMNT cab.

Maybe...

It depends on how they wired the audio to the TMNT board. Some of those era Konami boards had separate connections for stereo audio output. ;)

If they didn't use the JAMMA connections for speakers then you won't have any audio from your Psychic 5 board.

Beware that if it happens to be a bootleg board (Psychic 5) then it might have a reversed Jamma pinout (pinout backwards).

Just make sure you have an original board, these have normal Jamma.
There are however some (not all) bootleg versions of it where the bootleggers (I guess accidently) reversed the pinout, it's Jamma, but backwards, what is normally pin 1 is pin 28 and so on. You can't plug these boards on a Jamma harness, you'll need an adapter...

Post a pic if you are unsure wether you have a boot or original, it should be quite easy to tell from the looks of it.

This is the picture of it, thanks for trying to explain it, ill learn some day.

Ok, looks like a bootleg to me, but it seems to be Jamma (like I said, not all of them are non-Jamma). Isn't "Jamma" even written above the edge connector?
