I dont usually talk about my 'scores' but this one was pretty significant and I think is somewhat historic if your around mass.

Saw a guy in belchertown mass make a Facebook marketplace post about some arcade 'motherboards' for sale. He mentions 3 boxes and a few titles for $250 with pictures of maybe 5 or so boards in a flat box.

I responded as quickly as possible saying im interested. Turns out he had close to 30 boxes of boards. He owns an estate sale company and apparently a repair tech for an arcade ""Just Fun had recently passed away and left a bunch of boards. Ill have to do some research but the guy said he used to work around just fun as a attendant in the 80s and they had 3 locations in mass. The boxes actually still have shipping labels on it to the arcade.

We agreed on a price for the lot - sight unseen and I was there within a matter of hours from when he posted.

I didnt go through all the boxes when I was there but many of the boxes are branded and a mix between 80s and 90s titles. He had some in a van and it was sunny so I also didnt want to open them to expose to UV. I peaked in and handful and just dropped the cash.

Even though its a gamble, im looking forward to see what's there. They were stored flat so the plan is to get a bunch of usps boxes and get them organized and upright, then test, then sell anything I dont want (jamma).

I might need some help IDing so I was thinking of live streaming the unboxing. I dont know how entertaining that would be as im not a youtuber but could be interesting? What do you think?
