Hi Everyone!
I have posted variations of this on the original posts of the people who helped me get the parts I needed to complete this project. Sorry if you are seeing it too much!
I had an extra CP for the Playchoice countertop and wanted to re-do it like the full size arcade, so I replaced the Happ buttons with Nintendo buttons and replaced the non-ergo friendly joysticks with Nintendo 8-way arcade joysticks. See below for pics!
Thanks to:
Thorsten: For the mounting plates (no screw holes!!!)
Bill and Eddie: For designing the CPO and for selling me one, respectively
Tony and Joe: For your ideas, extra parts and assistance in executing this
I must tell you...as a person who plays my arcades a lot, I wasn't playing the countertop often because I did not like the feel of the original joysticks. Now it will be my favorite machine to look at AND play! I will keep the original panel and box it up for safe keeping, as it is fully original.
