Just woundering if anyone has done this? As I would like to play/have VS Battle City. However it uses RC2C03B, which also can be used for the NES RGB MOD. Causing its price to go through the roof as well. I have several PC-10 boards. So borrowing a PPU from a spare board is not an issue.

I believe the PC10 PPU is an RC2C03B, so I don't see why not. Vs Duck Hunt is probably the cheapest way to find an RC2C03B.... Are those fetching big $ now?

The PC-10 PPU is a RP2C03B.

RC2C03B is the one, for a select few Vs Games. With that said, its not so much the money involved with purchasing said the PPU. But that I have a few extra RP2CO3B PPU's. I'm just woundering if it would render the same colors or work at all?

The RC2CO3B, i've seen them sell anywhere from 40 and up. I've also seen on ebay try and sell them for 170 and up.

I'm not sure if your reading what i'm writing. I'm not writing RC2C03B twice. Unless you mean to say that the Rc2C03B and Rp2CO3B are in fact the same.

RC2C03B - Vs.
RP2CO3B - PC-10

The second designation in the two Alphnumeric Serials are different. Which then leads me to ask the same question as before. Hopefully with better clarity. Thou, both can be used in a NES RGB MOD, and the RC2CO3B can not be used in a playchoice 10, to my understanding. Can a RP2CO3B be used on a Vs. Board?

Thanks

If you have both, try it yourself. I'd think the worst that could happen is that some colors might be off.

Ah, sorry, I did not see that. So you are asking if there is a difference between RP2C03B and RC2C03B.
I was not aware that there was such a thing as an RP2C03B (I don't own a PC10).... Like the previous poster said, I would just try it and see.
