so now that everyone agrees they are scripting this so called reality show, i would like to point out my main gripe. i have no problem with television shows being edited or somewhat staged in order to make them more interesting to watch. my complaint is the inaccuracy of the appraisals, and switching items instead of restoring them legit. this is on the history channel, so you would expect them to at least be able to do an ebay completed auctions search and determine more carefully the value than what they did for a broken pac cocktail and atari 2600 with a bunch of junk cartridges. then they do stuff like taking an old beat up coke machine and swapping it for an already restored newer model. this is the opposite of history, its outright falsehood to state that they restored that coke machine, and on a forum like this where people put alot of time and effort into restoring the classics, swapping one broken pac cocktail for a different one with a 500$+ price tag being sold to a retailer??? couldnt be more historically inaccurate.
