Saw this pop up on FB Marketplace late this past Wednesday evening, but the business was already closed. Arrived about 10 minutes before opening time the next morning and was the first customer in the door.

As I was checking out the machine, the clerk received two calls asking about it.

It came with the contents shown (Scramble and Cosmic Chasm) plus three overlays (the two previously mentioned, plus native Mine Storm).

Paperwork shows that it was available for rent through a Rent-to-Own business called Remco - and there is faded writing on the top of the case identifying which Remco location it came from (El Paso, TX).

The neatest part is that there is a logbook where some of the players recorded their high scores back in 1982/83. The last entry in the High Score Log was from 1988.

Priced MUCH lower than I've seen them going for elsewhere - so super pleased with this find!Vectrex_1.jpgVectrex_2.jpgVectrex_3.jpgVectrex_4.jpg

brings back some memories, when I was in sixth grade, both of my brothers and myself made a deal that if we got a Vectrex then mom and dad didn't have to get us anything else for Christmas since we were sort of poor. It worked and we played that thing until it broke years later, even still had the box, not sure what happened to it.
are you sure it's not Remco? there was a rent to own place here in Texas at the time with that name.

You are correct - Remco. I confused it with a street in El Paso named Remcon Circle. Thank you for noticing the error.
