So who here has passed on a game you really want, but the price was higher then you wanted to pay, and feel bad about it?

I have passed on a few games and not felt bad about passing. But I feel bad on one I just passed over.

I passed on a Superman in a Moppet cabinet. Had Superman art on the sides. I had the cash but he wanted to much. Was suppose to trade a Ms Pac UR for it but the guy never oked it though his boss. So he boss wanted the Ms Pac which got a little damage on the way up and 500 bucks. I ended up just selling them the Ms Pac for 200. Glad I passed on it but I really though about pulling the trigger. I had a stack of 100's with me and more 100's coming in. But it wasn't worth it for a convert Moppet in a second generation style cabinet.

I passed on a free Revolution X yesterday even though it looks really nice and I love Aerosmith. I just can't see throwing another game in the game room right now. It's already overcrowded and that just makes the room not fun.

Plus, that cab weighs a shit ton.

I have... but got over it when I found one in better condition for cheaper. There's always another machine out there, just have to be patient.... sometimes VERY patient though.

early last year i passed on a working pole position in a damaged splitting cab for $100. i'm still wishing i had grabbed that one.

I try not to worry too much about cabs that I pass on. Some of them have been pretty decent deals but like others have said there are more cabs out there in better shape and at a better price.

I prefer to think about the great deals I've gotten over the average ones I've missed out on.

I have gotten a few good deals in my day. Like the Tempest I just got. Other than the back door this thing is in great shape. Got it at a great price too.

I guess I will quit beating myself up and wait some more. Not sure if there will be a better machine out there, but we will see. I am still young. :)

There was a nice dedicated 2-Slot Neo Geo MVS a couple of months ago that had been listed for months on CL. I think it had started as high as $800 and the lady eventually dropped it to around $250. I was a day or two late from contacting her and it was gone. Still on the hunt, but I have a feeling I may be getting one soon for even less. :D

Correct. I do not have a garage. I have a small house with no games in it. And I have a gameroom out back....not really extra room at all for working on them or storing them.

Edit: Unless, of course, it's a really rare game or something......
