I believe this is a greyhound / united textiles crane machine. It looks like i am missing the whole claw assembly. All i have are the molex connectors that would plug into the assembly if i had it.

Does anyone have the claw assembly or know where i can purchase parts?

It looks like the one in the corner of this picture (not mine):

Treasure Chest Parts

I found a site that seems to be selling compatible parts. It is www.jernie.com

On a side note... I have a treasure chest too but I cant find a manual or schem for it anywhere. My prize sensor seems to have roughly a 75% success rate of detecting when a prize is won and it is sometimes allowing many extra plays and prizes for the same 50 cents play. There is a pot on the pcb marked "pot 1" anyone know what that is for? The only other pot is for claw power and that is ok.

From my memory: Two large pots control the claw. One is the claw strength, the other is the claw close timing. There should also be a volume pot somewhere on that board as well.

If your prize sensor is the single photo eye, you will need to either go with larger prizes or make a divert-er to funnel the candy towards the eye. We use to make them out of color plexi.

Thanks...good to know it is for the claw speed. I did try making a diverter out of a fake vinyl material, to help deaden the fall of the candy. It helped at little bit I guess but it wasn't good enough so I removed it. I already have the main diverter chute closed as far as it will go to make the smallest opening possible, but the opening is still slightly wider than the sensor eye. I'll try again with another diverter to force the candy towards the right side, right in front of the eyeball. Hopefully that will cut down the angle and the detetion rate will go up.

Thanks again for your help.
