man, too bad its missing parts, frickin awesome game i always wanted one of those. I have no clue where the eff it would fit though heh...

If i could get a lcd replacement i would keep it and fix a 27 inch.. I might still do that will make some calls after the holiday. its a bitchen game for sure. the replacement lcd is avail on the vr website for $620.. yikes!

I am interested

I bought a VR in a lot a while back and the op lost a cable from the headset -- I dont know which one as I didnt have time to dig into it. That game is heavy and tall.

I do know it was missing a cable and dont know if the LCD worked -- I think it was because of the missing cable(s). The Frame holding the headset looked like it needed repair as well and the little doodads that sense rotation looked rigged.

I am in for the headset and frame and any cabling I can get with it if its still on the market.

I should tell you that there is an LCD on ebay though.....

Ill send PM just to double tap

wow I love you.. thank you.. got the pinout for the missing cable from the manual listed on the auction.
and an opportunity to buy the lcd assembly.. guess I'll this cabinet a little more attention before I let it go. You will be the first to know of course if I let it go. funny, sounds like the one you were looking at is missing the same cable.. lcd panel hanress to the monitor logic boards.

Thanks for keeping me in mind

I had to let you know about the LCD on ebay - it was only right.
I kind of suspect the one I have at home might be missing the same cable - Like I said I didnt get to dig into it too much. But I will soon.

You can get the LQ64D343 LCD from China shopping pretty cheap if you look around. There is another similar model that is anti glare that could work should the LCD be bad.

The cable could be made. I had read on a car forum where the cable was fabricated to feed the LCD from the controller.

Let me know if you need some links - I have many that might help for the LCD / parts and or fix.

cool thanks again.

I either need to make up a cable or obtain one new or used.. then i will likely still have to check for faults in lcd itself as I assume its bad since someone was tinerking with it. maybe a bad inverter board, maybe bad mainboard.

Call me crazy but...

Would putting something similar to this (or this itself) work? I am sure there would be some MODing but you never know.

I cant wait to get home and look at mine and see what the issue was with it. I may have to hit you up for some guidance and help. When I got the head assembly had been dismantled and a cable lost (I think). I have seen used LCD's for this for a few dollars (LQ64D343) online

Good luck with yours
