Again... no price. No price = Not serious (in many many peoples eyes). Others fear you're trying to make things an auction situation here when you post no price and "BEST OFFER". You'll get about 10% the response if you're lucky... with no price.
 
If you really want to sell something, you might want to bump it on occasion. Not everybody peruses the For Sale section everyday. Bump it up a few times a week, put a price, and somebody will bite.

Or, you could simply follow the established way of doing things here and post a price and it would have sold with your earlier threads.

Is that really so terribly difficult to understand?

Congrats Phet! You should convert it into a stand up Sega Genesis and Master System setup since Nintendo has been done already. I bet it would look pretty cool... ;)

"Hilarity" you say? Not quite. Positive attention, negative attention - it's all the same. Beating you with a bat or massaging you - feels the same, right? You must be the kid who misbehaves so mommy will pay you any attention at all.

And the "magic words" you failed to notice were actually "A- Star Castle" and "$96.69." Put a reasonable price on your goods and they will sell themselves.

But you got your money and that's all that matters right? The almighty dollar (which ain't so mighty recently, I might add).

Who says this is the "established" way of doing things? I don't see any rules stating such, and I see tons of threads with people doing it other ways. Selling with a best offer is just fine and the op did nothing wrong in his previous threads.

I will never understand what some people have against best offer posts. If you post best offer, you are greedy. If your price is too high, you are greedy. Maybe the best offer haters should get together and make a price guide with maximum amounts that you can sell things for.

Insane. I can't even wrap my brain around this silly argument.

Unless I missed something in the FAQS post (is there one?), I didn't know a person had to check with the ''established'' keyboard commandos on this forum before posting/selling/parting/mentioning their items.... Yes it is COMPLETE HILARITY! HIGH COMEDY!

Price or No Price, 99% of the dudes that hangout here are tire kickers.....

This is what we're trying to avoid. Some view it as terrorism to our hobby.
Congrats on the sale though, I'm sure it will get the appreciation it needs.

Thanks, I'm quite happy with my life and I actually read the board for a while and understood how things worked here. And then I sold things w/o any difficulty at all. Funny how that works.
