This cab is beyond saving. Sad thing is it almost works 100%.

Game comes up and plays. steering, gas, shifter works fine. Peter gun music comes on and plays when you leave the van. I am just not good enough to get to where it goes off and plays later in the game.

There is no game sounds. The sound IO board is constantly flashing. I probably will try swapping the z80 to see if it will fix it before I kill the cabinet..

I am going to hang on to the liner power supply and the suitcase transformer for now(working on a tapper). I do have 1 or 2 untested suitcase transformers. I could probably test them if you really need one..

The marquee is gone and the monitor glass is starting to flake. the rest is available. I recapped the 4600 and it looks nice. Pretty sure it low burn(orignal monitor was replaced).

If you need something, let me know.

I think I want the coin door. Send me a pic so I can see if its the one I'm looking for and what the condition is. Thanks. And oh yeah. If its an MCR-II board, you may very well have a bad ribbon cable connection causing your problems. When you turn it on, does it say sound board interface problem for a couple seconds. Bob Roberts had them IIRC.

sorry, I ahve been busy this last few days and have spent zero time on SH pcb.. I will take pics of the coin door. I crushed a spy hunter a while ago.. I will check #2's coin droor and take a pic.

Will check the ribbon cables on the pcb. Plan to swap z80 and GI chips.

here is the pic of the better coin door. the other one is pretty beat..

as for the cheap squeek pcb, last one sold on ebay for $75 shipped, there is one buy it now for $50+$8, and 1 just listed for $20 not working properly, so does $45 shipped sound fair?

I swapped the z80, on the sound board, no change. I reseated the top board chips and It did make the led stay on, but then it went back to blinking.

Did not have much time to mess with try the ribbion cables, old style, but they looked good. Someone drove up from LA and bought my project DOT. Tested the DOT boards in spy hunter, peter gun music playing when it came up was funny..
