Parting out Galaga. Let me know if you need any of the parts. Don't believe the original power supply works since it has a newer one wired up. extra control panel needs to go as well. If interested in the whole machine let me know it is in working condition, I just don't have the interest in doing any restoration to it.

Why did you acquire it then?

Because parting it out is more fun to talk about on a forum where there are guys like me who would kill to get a Galaga of any condition...

makes for better drama.

Please don't part it, Galaga is one of those games you will have no trouble selling whole, in any condition

the tropical vegetation in the background and some dude laying on the ground in flip flops in february definitely points to florida.

on the next......... CSI: KLOV

edit: ah, yes.. he did mention in another thread that it's jacksonville FL

Why did you acquire it then?

I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't look to be in terrible shape. But it's your game and you can do what you want with it. But depending on how much you're asking, I think you can sell it whole and make your job a whole lot easier.

Just don't use the words "part(ing) out." It's one of the taboo terms on KLOV if you didn't get that vibe already. :)

It's an awesome classic shooter with great art and sounds. I wish I never had to sell mine, but it's in good hands.

So I am sorry I assumed that my location would be somewhere on my post from account info, I'm new to this. The location is........................Jacksonville FL!!!

I have to admit I was confused between checking my messages and keeping up with the posts, so I had told some people prices and location and never answered questions on the thread. My bad. The reason I am offering it up is simply because I don't have the time or the interest in restoring. Maybe "parting out" was a bad term to use but This machine is full of good stuff that other people can use to put there machines together without having to buy the whole thing. I feel the pain of having to purchase whole machines for the part I need. Current projects of mine are Op Wolf, Sega Turbo, and a centipede cabinet that some heartless bastard painted over and I have spent at least two days peeling paint off as carefully as I can so as not to mess up the artwork. Anyhow that is the deal with the cab please let me know if I can help you with anything you may need for your cab.

Hey, I'm in Jacksonville! This never happens. I was kinda hoping for a cocktail Galaga, but I should at least check this out...
