Before you freak out and flag this thread, please read the details below.

I am purchasing the contents of an operator's storage facility. There are plenty of great games there, but the bad news is that the games were all stored on a dirt floor for years and years. Most of the games are water damaged beyond repair, so my friends and I will be salvaging parts. However, we've only done a cursory search and documentation of what's there, so if a game is not beyond repair, we will be more than willing to sell the game whole.

Unfortunately, the storage facility is some distance from me, and I will only have access to this on the day that we go to pickup everything, so I can't give anyone specific condition details. Therefore, this is a make-offer thread (I know you love those! :) ) We will be salvaging every part from these games where we can, and entire complete games where we can (but that will be few and far between, sadly). In order to follow the rules, I am posting this with the required 2-weeks notice as I will not be able to go pick these up until March 10.

I will use this time to catalog people's wish-list items and have created a spreadsheet for me to keep-up with all of this. Here's what I'm asking for:

1. Shoot me a PM or email me (nocashvalue80 at gmail dot com) including what part you're interested in along with an offer including shipping . This includes, but is not limited to monitor, pcb, control panels, coin doors, marquees, wiring harnesses, screws, marquee brackets, etc. I do not have enough time to individually price out all this stuff, so PLEASE just send your best offer for what you want.
2. Priority consideration will be given to folks intersted in a complete cabinet, but remember almost all have some water damage
3. I do not want to deal with international shipping, sorry
4. I cannot provide you with pictures, as I don't have access beyond my initial run through, so don't ask. Sorry.
5. I cannot test these games, so if you're desiring PCBs or other electrical components, you'd better be safe and assume non working

Just so people don't think I'm bullshitting about the condition of the games and just want to part out classics for the hell of it, here's a picture I took from my initial walk-through:

I swear alot of ops went retarded come 1985-86 when the market fell off..

IF i had a dirt storage is be at least laying down plastic and putting the games up on blocks, old tires, something..

THANK YOU for offering parts /games here first man.

I think I just found a hobby that could be almost as fun as playing old school video games. Taking people who threat them like this and putting the boots to them.

Wow! 50 messages in less than 24 hours!!!

Things to remember:

1. I don't have access to these to tell you in detail what the condition of the cab is. Assume the worst. If it's not bad, the cabs will be kept whole.

2. I know that it sucks sending offers, but honestly to be considered for it, you need to send me an idea of what you're willing to spend because 14 people emailing me simply, "I'm interested in Venture." doesn't help. I'm not going to come back to those 14 people after the fact and give them photos and a condition breakdown, I'll just put it up on ebay if there's that much effort involved. The reason I'm doing offers is for quick sale. If I have a guaranteed offer, then I know what to be sure to get when I'm there, and I won't have to worry about selling it later. I'm trying to make it easy on myself because this is going to end up being a LOT of parts and keeping up with it all is going to be a nightmare unless I can consider most of this stuff sold as I strip the damaged cabs.

3. I won't pick this stuff up until March 10, so have patience as It will take me a short while after that to get it packed up and sent to you.

4. I am renting a uhaul truck, so any cabs that are not damaged will be transported whole back to my home in Gainesville, GA or my friend's house in Lawrenceville, GA. I am not meeting people at the op's storage facility.

5. The next step for these was literally the dump, so say what you will, but we are saving these classics.
