Don't really want to do this, but I need the monitor in case mine flakes out in my cabaret. I'll keep the A/R board as well. Everything else is up for grabs. Cabinet is in decent shape, no back door. Here's the rest:

PCB works, but has video glitch in which some of the characters veer off of the maze. Certainly fixable: $125 shipped

Marquee: $32 shipped
Speaker assembly: $45 shipped
Marquee light fixture = $45 shipped
Power supply: $55 shipped
Control Panel, all pieces work: $75 shipped

If anyone needs anything else, just ask. PM me for inquiries.

Are you f*cking kidding me ? Parting out a Tempest just in case you need a monitor ? If your monitor flakes then just fix it or have someone fix it for you. Don't waste a good game for that. Please get out of the hobby now, Kthnx.

I had intended on selling it, but decided to part it. I'd rather have a monitor waiting to be used that spend the money to get it fixed. Having another on hand doesn't cost me anything. The cab isn't great, it fell off a moving truck once so it's kinda frail. No thanks for your comments.

Tempest

It is his game and he can do what he wants with it. If you are so worried about it, offer him a deal that he cant refuse for the whole game, otherwise quit trolling a FS post that you have no intentions on buying anything from. There are Tempests out there that need parts. Yours will make a couple others live again.

Good luck with the sale videodan.

How about a the monitor bezel ?

Is this the one you asked noice to ship?

Free bump just to get my dumb noice joke in... Great prices, btw.

I agree, we all need parts but hopfully they come from machines that just can't be saved. This is a preservation society for video games??? I hate seeing games parted out like this, it's just a waste IMO.

If it was anywhere near Boise I would buy it. The fact is, on a site dedicated to preserving classics, I shouldn't have to. That seems lost on so many of you here. He can do what he wants with it, it is his game. But if he is going to part out a game with a decent cabinet, on a site dedicated to preserving classics, then he deserves to hear about it.

Ignore

I was just sure I was on your ignore list. Huh, I was wrong again.
I do not condone parting a saveable game what so ever. I have done it before and my conscience told me it was wrong. I do not do it any longer as you can tell by my $300 project game spree as of late. I could have made more in parts that the $300 I sold the complete games for but, they are still complete games and my conscience is clean. With this said. To each his own and it is his game. We do not agree with him but it is what it is. Also. Thanks for not totaly blasting me for my comment. You must be in a pretty good mood today. Aaron

Its a rare sight to see, but I actually agree with Arc. Would you kill your neighbor because you *might* need an extra lung someday?

If it were legal... Maybe. Depends on which neighbor.

Would you take an organ from someone who died and donated it? this machine is non-working.

a non working game (no matter the title) wont fetch $100 these days. but the $300+ he'll make in parts MAY help him finance the restorations of others, and the parts will bring others back to life.

If everybody saved every machine, there would be no parts for you all to fix your machines with.

save a classic and don't part it out if its not damaged and find a working or non working wg6100
