Thought I would give a shout out for a good product.

I recently got a Lord of the Rings pinball, and, as most have been, the Arwen plastic was broken :(

After finding a replacement (albeit the generic art) I wanted to protect it from happening again. I found this exit ramp / protector online:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stern-LOTR-...=AU_CoinOp&hash=item35bc25a492#ht_2225wt_1037

It comes from across the world in Australia, btu that did not stop me from getting it 5 days after I ordered it.

Yes, it is expensive, but you can't find the Arwen (or generic) plastic without getting an entire plastics set, so it is worth the price of the protector in my opinion.

Here are some photos if it installed on my machine:

So here's my take on this from 1-10, with 10 being the highest:

Usefulness - 10 (even in a home environment I think this is very worthwhile).

Quality - 10 - fits the lines of the game perfectly, well made, thick plastic

Ease of Installation - 9 - very easy to install. You need to remove the POTD, but that's made easy by stern. 3 easy screws and one connector.

Cost - 8 - Yes, it's a little spendy for a piece of plastic, but there are alot of angles and bends, and it costs far less than a new NOS plastics set.

If you have a LOTR and are lucky enough to have an original Arwen plastic that is unbroken, or want to protect your replacement, you owe it to yourself to get one of these protectors.

Just my opinions :)
