A couple of weeks ago, someone asked what a Paragon goes for and I said the I have seen them go for $250 -$500. Brother Lindsey asked if I would pay $800 if it had perfect back glass and playfield, and I said hell yeah.

I just got back from a road trip where I saw and repaired a Paragon that is easily worth $800 IMO. It goes a step farther, as the cab has no fading at all and looks mint.

The Proud owner of this Paragon is Brother Taco.

Well it's worth more now that you worked some magic on it.Thanks again Dave I owe you big time.

Freaking awesome!

Admittedly I was kind of being an a-hole that day :p

I didn't take it that way at all.

Holy crap thats in great shape. Looks amazing, good buy!

The real price was a lot less from what I understand. Taco didn't tell me exactly what he paid for it.

Get all of them bad light sockets replaced and it will be awesome.

They are really loose and beyond repair IMO. I have fixed a lot of Bally sockets, and these are pretty rough and sloppy.

Most Bally games from that era are like that. Stern are even worse. They have to be pretty damn bad to be unrepairable. I can't say I've seen too many that are unrepairable in the dozens of Bally/Stern games I've restored but it's possible.

I've fixed hundreds like this:

His sockets are not that tight like the one you have pictured. It is almost like someone tried to force larger bulbs into them. The bulbs flop around pretty freely in the sockets.
